Sister Patterson is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, however, she has
resided in Birmingham, Alabama most of her life. She is the wife of
the Reverend R.L. Patterson, the mother of Abraham Patterson and
the First Lady of Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church.
Sister Patterson, a graduate of Jackson-Olin High School, graduated
