Healthcare Reconstructive Freedom
Alabama ranks high for many health risks. Alabama’s new “Reconstructed Healthcare Plan Options" will help poor working-class citizens, the elderly, and small businesses to be able to obtain the health premiums and healthcare services they deserve.
Healthcare.gov and H.R. 1 (The Big Beautiful Bill Act) are going away after December 2025. When analysis says that economic growth is “insufficient” to meet the cost of the H.R.1 costs of the HR1 Bill, it means the bill’s positive impact on the economy will generate enough new tax revenue to cover the costs of the bill’s provisions and other changes. This means
* As it stands, 130,000 Alabamians could lose coverage.
* Citizens’ Monthly premiums will almost double in 2026 for many people who buy insurance on Healthcare.gov.
* There is a possible loss of insurance taxes
* Alabamians are asking for Interest rate cuts
* Tax increase and/or additional borrowing in the future will ultimately slow economic growth, canceling out any initial boost.
* The citizens demand a “Provider Tax Freeze” in Alabama from increasing or expanding taxes on healthcare providers beyond their current rates as a way to reduce Medicaid spending, when there should be an expansion of Medicaid and Medicare.
